I couldn't find any other thread that already covered this but apologies if I've missed it.
I was made aware today of a website that allows you to pay a monthly subscription and receive non-stop coverage of BBC1, BBC2, ITV and Channel 4, 24/7 on your computer from anywhere in the world. You'll need broadband and although I'm not a technical person I guess there must be a way to link your PC to your TV?

That looks great! I'm not a great telly watcher but it's nice to know I could still get the Bill! Not cheap though if you convert to dollars! :roll

Thanks Toto.

That's alot of money, a great idea but I don't watch enough telly to justify paying it. I see The Weakest Link is listed, not that I'm a huge fan of the show but my friend recently went on it and won - would love to see that. Be alot cheaper to get family to video it and send a copy out ...... heck, in fact that would be totally free !!!
Good link though - I'm sure some telly addicts will pop their cork when they realise what they can do.

hmmmmmmm
We are paying nearly $60 per month for Sky - to be honest ONLY for the soccer.... and The Disney Channel!!!! The rest is mostly rubbish.
Apart from the food channel.
;)
If we ditched that - and picked this up - I reckon it would be a better deal......
thinking....

If money was no object - it woudl be great to have I guess. But really I dont think id get enough use out of it.
Its often cheaper to wait till a season of programs comes out on DVD and amazon are selling it cheap.

only trouble with that Carol is that sky has the monopoly on the soccer and the games aren't shown live on the BBC or ITV channels. (I have strong opinions on this subject but won't go there)

Could turn out very expensive, given the broadband ownload capping rates here in NZ.

Rabbit - if thast ever a problem for you - you may be interested in looking at some of the uncapped options. We pay $73 a month - but for that we get very fast broadband, and no caps. Thats from Orcon, but there are other options too.
Sorry its not quite on topic.
