Hi everyone,

We have been selected from the pool on the 7th June, :clap

and I am wondering now how long (roughly) it takes for the ITA pack to get through. we do not have a job offer so I am not expecting it to be very quick, is it normally a month or more? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hels

Hi Hels

We were selected on the 29th May..
Still no sign of ITA..
But I'm sure we will get it one day..
Don't know when it's hard to say..

Was not supposed to be a rhyme just ended up that way. :D

P.S had no job offer like you...

ours took about a week to 10 days to arrive (no job offer)

get on with booking medicals and getting police checks done as these are the things that will hold you up - not waiting for the ITA to arrive.

Hi Trigirl,
I just realized that even ITA’s without job offer have different time scales. I lodged my application on 8 March London/NZ-house (also no job offer) and did not get a case officer assigned yet.
I wonder if UK applications take a faster track, or if this is a question of EOI points.

hi trigirl!

from where are you? there's no definite time table, but a rough estimate would give you around a month to 3months for your EOI selected to become Decision SUccessful (and receive your ITA pack). this is probably the average time frame everyone can expect to follow, whether one is from the UK, US or Asia.

Mine was something not of the books, i think. EOI selected Nov 10 '04, decision successful July 28 '05. Eight months. I could have gotten pregnant and given birth during that time, haha. I guess it depends on the NZIS branch and the visa officer assigned to you. Our branch was Shanghai and our VO was Frances Wu.

right now we're still waiting for a visa. That's why i'm still haunting this forum WOOOOOOHHHHH!!!

cheers!
annie

jerry - i agree our case officer assigned / pr granted thing seemed to happen very quickly - really no idea why.

annie - i do think in the uk that our timescale for receiving the ITA is quite normal. i really doesn't take long for the initial check to be made and ITA sent out - unless there is something unusual in the application of course.

Have you seen Douglas's "THE official summary" for all timings? It's a mine of information: http://www.emigratenz.org/immigration-application-timings.html

Hi! Our EOI was accepted on 26 Apr, we got "Decision Successful" 2 months later (no job offer yet), and ONE day later our ITA pack arrived! I think in the UK they promise to send you the pack within 3 months.

Does anyone know how long you have to wait for your interview after you hand in your ITA pack?

High,
It seems that it depends on your location. I lodged my ITA on 8 March and I am still waiting for the interview. But UK citizens seem to take a faster track.

Cheers,
Jerry
