This may be a totally stupid question - but I'm not a frequent flyer by any means, and was wondering if anyone knows if I take a portable DVD/games player on the flight would there be anywhere to charge the battery - or would I need to take replacement batteries with me? :confused:

On Air NZ you can, but you can't have them on on takeoff or landing. Plus, they must run on their own batteries, unless youflying business or first class, then you get a plug socket, but not a UK one, so take an adaptor.
