Are online degrees recognised? More specifically is the Belford University Online Degree recognised? I've tried searching for it but can't find any mention of it on NZ sites.

It does however say on the B.U website that it is recognised worldwide.

If anyone knows??????????

Thanks

For a more direct answer to your question, you might try contacting the NZQA http://www.nzqa.govt.nz/for-international/qual-eval/index.html. However, you may need to have your papers officially assessed.

if its not on the list of universities that are recognised then you will have to send off certificates and transcripts etc to NZQA for assessment.

they will want to know what subjects you studied, and at what levels, how many hours of study a week etc so they can assess the degree against ones they already recognise and award it a level.

i think they normally write to the university to get course details and study requirements and i believe from what other people have said that this can take a while so you may want to get on with it fairly quickly.
