Can you continue to pay NI contribs in the UK whilst resident in UK ?

Just thinking that then I can have my old age/state pension in the UK plus whatever state type pension I will have in NZ from my employment there.

Has anyone else had any thoughts on this ?

I assume there is a state pension in NZ !
