I've seen that there is a tramping club in Welly- http://www.ttc.org.nz
looks great. Anyone had experience with them or other NZ tramping clubs? Seems like a good way to make some new friends.

My parents first met on a hike with the Auckland Tramping Club. :)

One of my friends at work & her husband go away with a tramping club most weekends & holidays - they love it & say people from all ages go. Great place to meet new people & see some wonderful scenery!
