Can anybody please help? OH awaiting confirmed job offer. Just slightly confused about applying for work visas/permits and submitting EOI. Should we submit work visa and EOI. Do we apply for the permit in UK or NZ? If NZ where and how long does it take?

My head is just a jumble at the moment!

Nikki, we do both..............
We arrived in NZ as tourists looking for a job. OH got a job offer less than a month of our arrival and we went for the work permit so that he could start work. At the same time, we submit our EOI with points for the job offer and 4 months later, we got our PRs.

In NZ, we went to the NZIS office to get and return the work permit application form. A couple of days later, we received the WP approval. Then we submit the EOI online.
