Hi Gang,
We have a SKY box about 18 months old - we no longer subscribe to SKY but have kept it as it acts as a Freeview box and we can still recieve more than the usual 5 channels.
We will not get SKY in NZ but Iwas just wondering if it was worth taking it with us (can we pick up any free satelite channels with it) or just get shot of it here?
Any ideas?
Thanks

Nope get rid on ebay or something.
Our shiney new Skye + box is sitting in the garage along with our pre + box. :wah:wah
Freeview is supposed to be here next year but it's likely to be a bigger choice of the carp we have on the normal tv now. :(
I promise I'm not following you either. :D

On a similar note, I have been trying to figure out what is available for cable/sat? Seems like Sky is the only option, but maybe I am just not looking in the right places.
Also, is it possible to oder American sports? I have this sophmoric obession with Basketball, that I am afraid will be left unfufilled. yahoo sports might not do the trick ;-)

You can get several free channels using a digital satellite or terrestrial decoder, there is more information on this site http://www.freeviewshop.co.nz
