Wonder if any one can comment Waitakere City and surrounding areas. We have seen some good priced property on the net but the only time we went any where near that area was on a trip to Piha....Your thoughts and comments welcome :nice1 ......David, Lesley, K & J

We bought a house in Titirangi, and are moving there next week (hopefully). Really liked Titirangi, feels like a small village, lotst of woods, parks etc. They have very good primary schools. Close to the Waitakere Ranges, it has a lot of nature around.
But all the shops etc. are also only a short drive away. Can't wait to start living there. :nice1

We're hoping to live out west as well but I will be working on the North Shore so don't want to go to far. Anyone know if it's an easy commute from that area (Massey/Henderson etc)?

We are living in Titirangi, have been here for almost 4 months (doesn't time fly) we love it, the commute into Auckland is not too bad, although I leave early as start at ACH at 0700, the schools are fab, and not far from some excellent beaches, also the scenery is beautiful, a lovely place to live in Auckland!
