Has anyone had any experience with registering with the NZ Board of Psychologists? I have a Mental health license in Hawaii, am nationally board certified, have 8+ years of documented experience as a therapist, great reccomendations, and still I was turned down because they said they didn't think my internship experience qualified me. I am thinking I may need a lawyer to appeal the decision. I'm hoping someone here has some advice, and maybe even a recommendation of a lawyer. I feel devastated and crushed since I already have everything else done, and my case officer was just waiting for my registration to do my interview. If anyone can give me some hope I would be soooooo grateful.
