When my family and I decided to emigrate, we first went with the worlds worst agency who tried to rip us off.We had to sue to get our money back (we did).
Then we went to NZ for a hoilday and my 2 year old lad got sick, had to spend some time in the hospital there.
Before we told all the family about our plans to emigrate we had a death in the family so had to stay quiet for a few weeks. Now with about five weeks before we emigrate we just found out this week the mother in law has a cancerous brain tumour.
Just having a moan but did anyone else have loads of bad luck while they was going through the emigration process?

Jeeze they say things come in three's but not for you by all accounts, the number four comes into the equation. Can't say we had a lot of things go wrong, apart from my sister being diagnosed with Spinal and Breast cancer 6 weeks before we emigrated, and sadly passing away 3 weeks into our new life. I know how you are feeling, but just try and stay positive if not for your MIL, but for yourselves also.
Please don't take this as a negative post.

Hey guys,
Keep the positive thinking and be sure that what is meant to be, will be. And remember the good old Nietzche: "Whatever doesn't kill you make you even stronger."
Lots of love for you all.

Hi Matt
What very bad luck you have had. For some people this moving to NZ lark seems to be a journey from hell. But they make it in the end and I hope you do to.
Keep having a moan at us when things are hard, make you calmer for your family.

Matt
So sorry to hear your bad news, you certainly are having it tough over the last year!
As the others have said, come on here for a moan and to let your feelings out so you can stay strong for your family, as a group we are strong and can help you, with a few dozen shoulders to lean on.
Sometimes you feel like you are in a hole that is getting deeper and can't see how you can ever climb out, but there are loads of hands here to help you, you will never be alone!
Thinking of you all.
