We have just got back from NZ House London after delivering our ITA and all the stuff that goes with it...... :yes
Considering London is only half an hour away we very rarely go up there so we had a little stoll around, had a look at Buck House did'nt see Queenie but never mind took a photo instead. It was a tad too hot for doing the touristy bits though.

So another wait. Lets hope it's not to long.

Feels really strange now just sitting and waiting - before you had the EOI to fill in and then gathering all the information for the ITA, having medicals etc, then suddenly its all done and things seem to go flat! :(

Your future is now is someones hands and you have no control over it,

you just have to sit

and

wait

and

wonder

and

wait

and

panic

and stress.......................

Well thats what we feel like anyway... is it just us???

And will somebody please come and buy our house, we are now thinking of offering to pay the stamp duty for the buyer, Kev was talking to a mortgage person today (they'd come to collect an item they'd won on ebay from us - yeah more rubbish sold for a profit!! :clap )

Anyway this lady said most people found it hard buying a house when it came to having to pay stamp duty, they can get a mortgage ok, but have no savings to pay the stamp duty, she even said people were now not even having surveys done if they could save a few ££££. Well we were thinking of lowering the price, but if we offer to pay the stamp duty instead it may bring that buyer in, off to the agents tomorrow to see what they think!

And don't worry there are a few of us now playing the waiting game, we can keep each others spirits up!

I submitted my docs direct to NZ house yesterday (with job offer), so I too am hoping this will happen quickly.

Good going on selling the house .. we haven't even put ours on the market yet but we've had 2 people interested!!!.

Which part of New Zealand are you going to??

Fingers crossed on your house sale.

We are off to Gisborne (Gizzy) Russ has a job which he is due to start at the begining of October.

We have just been told are container is going on the Skagen Maersk on the 28th July so it's looking like at least our belongings shall be emigrating even if we don't get our PR :roll

We however are moving into a caravan in Bognor for 5 weeks :( This should be fun  but maybe not!

I'm sure you'll be following your belongings!

At least moving into a caravan sounds a better alternative than moving back in with your parents or forking out for a hotel!
