we submitted our EOI last July 3, 2006 and today July 5,2006 I checked the website and under the status its saying that its already selected and it has this message:

"Congratulations.

We are very pleased to confirm that your Expression of Interest has been selected from the Pool for further consideration.

We will conduct some preliminary checks of the information you have provided to determine whether your claim is accurate. Following this checking, you may be invited to apply for residence in New Zealand.

We wish you all the best with your Expression of Interest."

but how come when i checked the "Latest Updates" for Skilled Migrant Expression of Interest its saying that the latest selection of Expression of Interest under the Skilled Migrant Category took place at 1:00pm New Zealand time, Wednesday, 21 June 2006.


am I interpreting their message wrong? does it mean that our EOI is already selected? or we can just say that its(EOI) already selected after the preliminary checking?

for me this message means our eoi is selected but i want to hear it from you guys....what do you think?

You will find that the NZIS website won't have been updated.

yup most of the documents are with me already. hopefully all the original documents would not get lost when we submit it.
