Hello everybody,
I lodged my ITA 15 February, 2006.
Can anybody tell me how i can undesrstand if a case officer is already assigned to me?
In the immigration web side my status is still "application received". When an officer is assigned, should it changed the status?

it tends not to change that quick on the website, we had no warning and our case worker rang up introduced herself to Rob and then made an appointment for the interview the next day. but i suppose it depends what country your application is with

When a case officer is assigned to you, they will notify you via your chosen method - ie email.

Hopefully it wont be too long now......

We lodged our ITA (London) on 30th January this year
CO given two weeks ago,
interview set for 19th July in London :yes

Hi they dont update the website very often i had my case officer ring me before i knew i had one and he wanted to do my interview the next day on the phone while i was at work . Going on the times i had been advised he contacted us 2 weeks earlier ,not that we minded as we got pr .Cheers Cardy and bev

Hi from what other people hae said to me i think the majority of interviews are on the phone . Mine took about 30 minutes i think and he had told me beforehand what sort of questions i would need to answer. but as we had been planning to come here for 2 years anyway i wa very well prepared.
