Well, it is 12 months to the day since this photo was taken at Tatton Park near Knutsford. It is difficult to put into words the emotions and events that have happened to the people on this photograph in this time. It would be interesting to get a condensed update from all on the photo as to what has happened to each of us here, coz there aren't many of us left behind who are on this shot.

Hi Steve, yes very wet and very windy up in Snowdonia!


Well the two handsome brutes laying down in front are me and Kim39 ( I think you can guess I am wearing the Everton shorts on the left!!) Jo B is attempting to nick Kim's tobacco out of his pocket, Diny kneeling down behind her, marcia in the pink top and sunglasses, Ian B is at the back with a tree growing out of his noggin and K&CS are on his left.

Sure we will have fun finding out people's updates.

Well we're still here in the Uk!

I am in the pink t-shirt on the right hand side of pic, with Ayrton on my left in the red footy shirt, and Mika below to the right in the red footy shirt, Kev is at the back holding Emerson who is wearing a red hat, standing next to Wendy, Dazza and little Luke who are in Christchurch now!

Well we were there and now are here ,Arrived in Auckland Dec 1st .

Dave and I on the left behind the flag with Ellen ,my little Louise is holding the bottom of the flag and Joe is in the middle wearing his turquoise Man city shirt.

We're not actually on that picture! We were there, but we left a while before the picture was taken because we had to go to visit friends in Stockport. I was very heavily pregnant and spent the time sitting like a beached whale. It does and it doesn't seem like a year ago - a lot has happened to us - we've had a baby and moved to the other side of the world.

Anyway, we're here now! We still had so many hurdles to get across at that time - just goes to show, if you really want to, you'll get there in the end! Looks like being a lovely day here today - just looking out of the window and can see the sun coming up out of the sea (that's what it looks like) in a beautiful orange, pink and blue sky! I'm glad we made it!

That pic was taken just a few days before we flew out of UK. Was thinking about it on Saturday actually, amazed at how time flies. So much has happened - mostley good, some not so good.

We're here, we're enjoying it - watch this space.

P.S. Kiwi Dollie & family - back row, blue check blouse next to some Sam with 'cool dude' long hair - they're also here. And centre of the pic, dark hair, sunglasses, big smile - that's Babette, she's here with her family now too.

:eek: :eek: 12 months ago, and the day Jo got lamped at rounders ahhhh memories. Well we are here and have been since 4th Nov. Now i won't lie, i have struggled, only due to the industry i am in but at least i am giving it a good go. Rest of family have settled well into their shools and Elaine has settled into her job. So all in all seems as if we have made the right move, so much so that we have submitted EOI, and it has been selected, so just have to play the waiting game now.

As Steve says i'm lying next to him with Jo trying to grab my nads:p and Elaine is peeping out next to Sam. Don't know where my girls were:uhoh

What a lovely thing to see again.....I have this photo on my kitchen noticeboard just to remind me!!

That's me (LisaT) and my OH Alan in the back row middle behind Babette. We're in sunnies and our lad is standing infront of us. Our little girl is trying to disown us and holding the flag on the left in front of Marie.

My OH lives and works in Auckland and we are still in the UK trying to sell up and move out to be back together. We may just give it to the end of summer and then just go and leave the house empty!

Just goes to show we've had sunny weather two years in a row!!!

Lisa, I really hope you get your house sold soon - it must be very difficult for you! You're right, there definitely comes a time when you have to say sod it and go! Life's too short for you all to be so far apart.

Diny, I remember really well saying goodbye to you when we left and you were saying that this time next week you'd be on the plane. I just couldn't imagine how that would feel - I was partly jealous and partly glad it wasn't us - you seemed so calm about it too! Funny how so much can change in a year.

Outwardly I'm always calm - abit like when you see a swan on the river - they seem to be very calm - but under the water the feet are paddling away at a crazy rate - that's me.

Glad this picture has jogged so many memories!! :) Nice to see the faces and put the names to them again! Sorry Lisa, but got you and Alan mixed up with K&CS - DUH!
Saying that I get mixed up with my own kids so ... hope you and Alan get together again soon. Tell him to get in touch with Kim, looks like they could do with a substitute keeper down at Te Awamatu...

Yes, amazing how time flies. Hope this time next year we can look back at our wet weekend in Wales and say, this time last year, we were getting blown all over the place in Snowdonia!

Thanks Stevie, for the wonderful memory of that great day in Tatton Park - can't believe that's a year ago, time sure has flown. Amazing how many of us have managed to get to NZ in that space of time, how our lives have changed.

Can't wait to welcome you & others so that we can have a similar picture of us all later on in the year / early next year but this time in NZ.

Yes, it does certainly jog a few memories... Jan's carrot cake and the bring a plate - mountains of food!! The blazing temperature and hiding under the gazebos, and the farewells... ah well, patiently waiting for our turn soon.
