I had an interview on Monday for a full day teacher aide post as opposed to the half day one I have at the moment .

They just phoned I can start as soon as I can work my notice :raebanana

But now I have to say goodbye to the lovely staff and kids who I have kinda bonded with .

Didn't imagine that I could feel this bad considering Ive only worked there for 5 months ,I guess after saying goodbye to so many last year ,that I wouldn't have to say it again.

But it is nearer to the house [if they ever start building it !] and Ellen will go there too ,slightly more dollars per hour and of course more hours .

So a banana or two please .

Well I have just finished at my primary school ,awful saying goodbye again to lots of people ,the children were lovely ,lots of hugs from them .

Tomorrow my best friend and my 7 year old God daughter arrive for a 4 week visit I'm soooooooooo excited :D

Start my new job on monday at a high school with 13/14 year old kids ,its going to be different [hope they don't eat me alive ...kids are huge out here :uhoh ]

My 2 younger kids are leaving their school today and I have managed to enrol them into the school which is close to where we are having our house built .
It is a brand new school [opened in Feb ] and we are all excited that they can start there and make new friends whom hopefully we be living close too soon .http://www.reremoana.school.nz/

I survived my first day . :nice1

I got to school on time ,found a parking space ,thought well done Marie ..........hold on ........this doesnt look right ........oops wrong school ........reversed out quick .........my school is next door ...drove in and searched everywhere for a space ,pouring with rain ,kids everywhere ...........

Got to 10 o clock ....phone call for me .....Ellen has been hit by a ball and isn't feeling well ......what do I do :confused: Luckily Dave was able to go and fetch her home .

She is fine ,the other two loved their first day at their new school ,Louise was happy to tell me she made lots of new friends .

The kids I am with are all as tall as me ,the school is huge ,I'm sure I will be fine in a day or two :exit
