Well we had our medicals with Dr Palmer in Trethomas today, she was a very nice lady who seemed to have alot of knowledge about the immigration process.

The medical itself including bloods cost £420.00 for the both of us.
X-rays were done at Bupa in Cardiff and cost £76.00 each.

The consultation consisted of the following:

1. Explanation of the process an consequences of any findings.
2. Completion of paperwork and questions of medical history.
3. The dreaded blood test - including consultation about HIV etc.
4. Weight and Height
5. Took blood Pressure, pulse and heart rate.
6. Breathing and lung test
7. Tested hearing
8. Tested Eyesight
9. Checked ears, mouth and neck.
10. Checked reflexes and muscle strength.
11.Examination of abdomen.
12. Water test - if you could not go at the beginning you'll want to go by the end! :laugh

Expecting results in a couple of weeks. :)

Hey guys

bet you are glad thats all done & dusted - Mr mossum & I were very stressed about medicals (both a tad podgy :o ) all up it was far less of a problem than we thought it was going to be .

& so the fun bit starts .........

Yeh we are both glad that it's over, just hope that the blood test come back clear.

It did get a bit hairy at one point when my blood pressure came out at 100/65 instead of the normal 130/80......what can I say I am a very relaxed person. Then she could not find any veins to take my blood.......I am alive really!! :D

Other than that everything was fine. ;)
