Want to check with you guys, hows is the IT market at Auckland? I need to secure an IT job within 6 months, before I am able to obtain a permanent resident, kinda worry :uhoh

Received my WTR few weeks ago, quite fast.. about a week after the interview.

It seems that Wellington has more IT opportunity at the moment?
I just secured a job offer early this week (thank God).
I will be in NZ(for the first time ever) next month..

A friend of us is in IT and he is from Singapore. He arrived in Auckland with WTR and got 2 job offers in less than a month.

only based on phone interviews (and 1 video conf)

yeah, some of them simply reply "contact us again once u r here" or "sorry no vacancy match with your profile"
but not all...

OH has applied for about 60 jobs, and the best we get is "see you when you get here for an interview" :( ....and we really need a job.

He's in IT Helpdesk.
