We all know of the book "Where to live in Auckland", but does anybody know of a similar book in relation to Where to live in Hamilton. I know that Hamilton isn't on the same size as Auckland, but maybe there is a publication along the same lines.
Have posted this thread for a friend of mine who is waiting on his ITA.

My B-I-Law used to live in Hamilton for 14 years we are due to speak to him this wend so I will ask Ian to ask him whre the best place to live is.

What is your friend looking for? Schools, quite area? a place to raise kids? a place to retire?

If you can give us an idea this will help us to highlight a few places for him.

Its the usual anybody would ask i suppose decent area's, area's to stay away from, good schools etc. Actually jo, if you could just get the low down on the place it would be appreciated and could you PM me with details. I suppose there ain't a book on this subject, do you think there could be one of similar nature on the Waikaito region?

I doubt very much there would be books published on other areas, the best guide if you don't know anyone in that area would be to contact estate agents or just look at the different prices on realenz. that should give you an indication.
