I have been selected from the pool with 140 points with a job offer at the end of June. I have not recieved ITA yet. What is a long time for this?? Most people's profiles seem to read no longer that 3 weeks. I am starting to get nervous :(

Also wondering why ITA's are given and why some arent. Hmmmm.

hi leosus

that's how nzis works! no pattern at all to their process, so you can't really tell when and where you'll move from one stage to the next.

Usually from EOI to ITA it takes at least 3 months, (from where i come from that's fast already) to maybe 8-10 months (8 mos was how long ours took). Just check your online account with nzis and see if your status changes from Selected to Decision Successful, in which case the ITA pack will soon follow.

In the meantime, while you're waiting, why don't you gather all your relevant and pertinent documents, have them copied and certified as true copies, so that when ITA comes you don't have to scurry around your various institutions to get this and that, whichever and whatever.

But since you've got a job offer, why don't you call them up and say you already have a job offer, what's keeping them? Ever so politely, mind you. Because you may find them friendly and helpful but sometimes won't be able to answer your questions or concerns. Ah, immigration agencies are like that all over i suppose. (Where are you from?)

cheers! have a dancing banana

Hi Leosus,

I would echo what Annie wrote. If they were able to recognize the 140 points you should receive the packet any day now, but it would be best to start gathering the ITA information. Since you have a job offer when you submit the paperwork just make sure you clearly state that in the cover letter.

Best,
Alex
