as Murray Walker would say at the start of a race.... because that is what it feels like now... a race.

I've been offered a job in Auckland and have start date of the 4th September so we have to get whole life moved to the other side of the world in the next 5 weeks.

The story : I decided to send some CV's to various agents in Auckland and elsewhere. I got an interview with a Business Intelligence consultancy, then a 2nd interview and they made an offer which I accepted. Last Thursday we both gave notice at work (me after 16 years with the same firm) and Rachel about 15 years...

Now planning to fly out on the 18th August with our 2 young kids. After months and months of waiting and frustration we're finally on the way.... I can't believe it.!!!

Good luck with it all. Whereabouts in Stockport are you? We've got good friends in Hazel Grove. You'll be getting here just in time for spring!

Well done you!

Do you have PR or are you going out on a WP?

Where in Auckland are you planning to settle?

Good luck, you're gonna have a very busy few weeks, we feel like we haven't a minute to spare now and we haven't got a date to go yet (need to sell this house!!)

|My advice is make lots of lists and tick them off, you'll feel more organised (even if you aren't really) and as you tick the things off you feel a sense of achievement.

all the best :nice1

Congratulations on your job offer!

You will definitely have a crazy time between now and then, but when you do finally get to Auckland, it will be such an exciting adventure.
