OH and I just had our medicals down yesterday by Dr Steer in Kingston-upon-Thames. If you live close by, it's totally worth your while to go to him - he is amazing!
We were both really stressed, but he was so friendly and nice, and made a real effort to help us relax. In the end it wasn't stressful at all!
He did both of us in 50 minutes, and kindly filled in the form in front of us to give us the peace of mind that he did actually initial every page! He talked us through everything and completely set our minds at rest.
In addition to this, he lives just down the road from the hospital, so you can go for your x-rays and then just walk down the road to him!
Anyway, my point is that if you can go to him, do it!
