So at at last our journey has started.

The shippers arrived yesterday morning bright and early expecting a nice easy job. They just left exhausted, battered and bruised. We had to much stuff to fit into the container so left a couple of things behind. I must say Fox removals were excellent throughout and im very pleased with them.

Thank goodness for furnished rented accomadation, otherwise we would be sitting and sleeping on the floor!!!

Well we have sorted jobs in Wellington, handed in our notices and 3 weeks of work left. 2 weeks then of fixing loose ends in the UK then we fly of to Singapore for a well deserved breaK before touching down in our new home.

It does feel good after 3 years of planning to have the wheels in motion. It feels good to be able to be leaving the UK as well. We had a good time here but it was never meant for us to settle down here. We both only came initially for 2 years travelling and working and then to return to South-Africa and Singapore respectively. Well fate would have had it other wise. 6 years down the line (4 more than planned) a marriage and 2 kids later its time to count our blessings, say thanks and goodbye.

Well I wont bore you any more, time to open a bottle of wine, put our feet up and relax.

Cheers,

Smiler
