Hi all,

How far (or how long to drive) from Hamilton area to Tuaranga or Auckland ?

We are considering basing ourselves in Hamilton area (Cambridge maybe) and job hunting in Auckland or Tuaranga...

Dozzer,

We live in Te Awamutu, which is a 15-20 min drive from Cambridge. Tauranga is around an hour to hour 15, and Auckland is 1.5hrs.

Go with what Kim has said, after all he is out there and he drives for a living.

HI we live in cambridge ,it takes me 20 minutes to get to hamilton,50 mins to get to tauranga and about an hour and a half to 2 hours auckland depending on traffic. If you hit Auckland in the rush hour add another hour on to that to get where your heading.There seems to be a lot of jobs all thee places at moment depending what you do. Cambridge and te awamutu are lovely places to live .Cheers Cardy :cheers
