Just so I don't hijack someone else's thread ....

We have Permanent Residency... But due to circumstances below we are unsure which is the best Travel Insurance to get??

Emigrating to NZ in August but getting married in Australia in November. As I've already got my wedding dress, I need to ensure that this is insured (otherwise I'll cry :wah if anything happens to it!!).

Choices:

Option A) Wedding Insurance & Migrate Insurance (Covers flight to NZ only) & A general Travel Insurance (for all other flights which we could book in NZ)

Option B) Wedding Insurnace & Backpacker Insurance (Would cover all flights ... but unsure if eligible as not returning to the UK)

Option C) ??? :confused: Any Ideas??

If anyone got any suggestions or if you've been in the same situation, what did you do??

We are thinking about doing a couple of stopovers on our way to NZ (only thinking about it yet !!) so I rang these people to enquire about the insurance and they were more than helpful.

Give them a call - maybe they could offer and option that you hadn't thought of.

Update ... Go-Walkabout were great. They were able to come up with suggestions and a reasonable quote.

So I'm now sorted!
