Well I am sat waiting for our first veiwers to arrive. For once in it's life the house is spotless! Trust it to rain, the house is all dark and gloomy and the garden looks bedraggled! (is that a word! ) Oh they're here! wish me luck!

Well they seemed to like it but that doesn't mean anything does it. The problem with our house is the outside doesn't do it justice. I think this will put some people off coming to look at it. Oh well time will tell.
How did it go Steve? Did they turn up?
marcia we are on right move but half the photos aren't on there. I'll post the link when it's updated - told that it would be done today but so far nothing! Estate agents!

Are you SURE it wasn't 6,30 Stevie? Sometimes, poeple can be soooo rude. We had arranged for someone to come and see a cabin bunk bed we had put on freeads, had spoken 3 times, re-arranged to fit around this woman's daughter's party and then..... she just never turned up. Didn't ring. Nothing. What is it with people?

PS Hope you get that viewing!

Gil Nice house!
Don't want to buy it though its in the wrong country!!!!
Nicola - do you feel like you are living a show house too - its just not home anymore!! Still i suppose it helps prepare you for having to leave. Know what you mean about the outside of house not doing it justice - ours is the same looks small from the front but it is a really deep house and on three floors from the back - they really need to COME AND LOOK AT IT!!!!!!!!!!
Good luck to everyone trying to sell - think its much easier in NZ some friends in Palmy put theres up for sale last weekend got a message on Fri that it was SOLD!

hiya possums
our house sold out of the blue , about 3 weeks after we changed agents . they came they saw & they offered - full asking price ! We are due to exchange on 11th August . Having no kids it was not hard to keep it pretty much ready to view at a moments notice ..... although a cat who brings in numerous dead creatures at all hours was a bit of a challenge :laugh .
positive selling vibes to all who need them

Hi
Keeping the house tidy... what a thankless task that is. I'm OK this week as the monsters are away. I have just come home from Cardiff and the place was as I left it! Bliss :)

Keep it tidy- you never know who will be the next to view and buy it. Our first viewer was the woman next door who lived with her mum. She really wanted it but in the end couldn't get a mortgage after a couple of weeks trying. The next viewer said "WOW" in every room and loved it, said she was renting so was ready to move straight in, made an apointment to return the next day- then we never saw or heard from her again!! Then we had a woman who was here about 6 minutes and only said ten words (very unnerving) and our last viewer was a carpenter- had a good look round (my self-built kitchen and loft conversion didnt seem to impress him much) and made an offer the next day.
Dont be fooled by people who are 'amazed' by your house, and when the unimpressed buys it you will have a pleasant surprise :nice1
