On Trade me, search for rentals and houses to buy and then search other listings.

What do you need, schools, pets, ocean views, public transport?

Schools are not an issue , no kids, do not want to be to isolated, but in a decent area ?

Depends where you're working, but up here on the Kapiti Coast is lovely - the commute into Welly isn't TOO bad (apart from McKay's crossing, and hopefully they'll decide on the Western Link Road soon!), the weather's better than in town, and the house prices are also better.
We're also liking the people, they're really friendly, all the amenities are nearby (exceot a bowling alley!!) and there seems to be plenty of expats along here (I work with 3 of em!!)
