This site is so informative, so far I have found the answers to all my questions and the "trademe" website.
Another question for you now though!
What would we be looking to pay out in Health Insurance each year for the 5 of us? Not something we have had to think about before and the finance list just gets bigger & bigger.

We pay $83 for private health insurance including specialist and testing and a $300 deductible although they don't call it that. I used an agent I found through a forum referal (inform.co.nz I think). Tim von Dadelszen
Freepost Inform Financial Services, 0800 373 346, tim@inform.co.nz, is the agent and he was great. Very informative, takes the time to review and discuss your needs etc. I would highly recommend him.

I finally got round to inquiring about health insurance yesterday, and went through Inform.co.nz. We also had Tim put together all the info for us and found him very informative.
I was asking about dental and optical add ons and he explained why he wouldn't recommend them. All made sense to me.
What I also like is that if you have to make a claim, you don't have to deal with the insurance company, you just give Tim a call.
Anyhoo, feel much better now that I've finally got that organised. I think it's going to cost around $78 for both of us, and that includes specialist and tests which don't relate to stays in hospital.
