OK,
Getting all the paper work together took a long long time....NZQA, police NZTC etc....
I handed in all the paperwork several weeks ago in person. Two weeks later we received a letter of receipt - a couple of the birth certs for the children were the wrong ones. I sent the full/correct ones by special delivery overnight that day. Today, a week and a half later I send an email to my case officer, asking if he has them. He replies that he has 120 applications to deal with and that post takes a week to filter through the system (note he does not commit to an answer! - worrying).
Everything is arranged. Flights, removals, job etc.....just awaiting blue stickers.
How will I know if everything is going ok/not. I don't want to bug the CO -
Do I just wait for a phone call/email/letter?
As the flight is in 32 days time, how long can I afford to wait, before asking?
I'm not the pushy sort - I tend to think everything is working ok, unless I'm told otherwise. Is this a dangerous policy with NZIS?
Any reassurance/warnings/advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
David
