hi everyone,
I just wanted to share, because you know how exciting it is to get the passport back with that shiny blue sticker! Fed Ex just delivered it, pretty speedy considering the NZ Consulate in LA only received our application on July 27. They gave Nik a one year work visa (the maximum he could get without medicals) with outward passage waived, which is just as well because we already booked one-way tickets months ago! I know that applying under Partnership is much easier than the other ways, but it's still a relief to actually get that visa.
