Just got home from swimming to find a packet with all our documents returned and passports sporting the above. I think I sent the direct debit form on the 7th July (ish), so between 3-4 weeks.

It is a good feeling. It means the biggest beaurocratic headache of this move (it is the biggest, isn't it guys? :uhoh ) is now done :)

Just left with shipping, NZNC registration, closing and opening banks, organising schools, finding a rental, utilities cancelling and set-up on the flipside, working tax credit update, finding a good home for our lovebale old mutt, finish OU course, IRD numbers, obtain a motorbike licence (OH), organise a bon voyage party (not sure about this one though) and blah, blah, blah........... :wah

I can be found wandering about muttering "this time next year, this time next year" under my breath these days!
