Subject says it all really. We were recently ITA'd and are now busily running around sorting out our paperwork. We originally applied with 140 points, but were downgraded to 115, for my degree not being classed as computery enough for my job. So, is this going to make any difference at all? Just curious...

As I understand it, once you get your ITA you are at the next step, and it doesn't matter whether you had 140 or 115 points to get where you are. Your ITA might go in a slower pile for processing when you return it, but that's the only difference I know of. Congrats!!

I know the process has changed since we got here, but when we were going through this stage it was actually quicker if you claimed less points on your ITA (as long as whatever you claimed on the ITA was over the selection point when you were selected from the pool) - something to do with it being quicker the less information there was to check.
Probably not relevant any more but hope it makes you feel better. Good luck anyway.
