Its odd though cos the new 50 is the same size as the old 10, so until all the old ones go back to the banks, you need to watch out...

Are they actual size on the website?? They are very tiddly aren't they!

I take it the 5c coin isn't in circulation any longer, so how does that affect pricing of goods, is it straight forward or do they still do the 'only 99.99' trick.

Most people pay by Eftpos, in which case you pay $39.99. If you pay in cash $39.99 = $40, $39.94 = $39.90 (I think) the shops already use rounding up or down as there is nothing under 5c already.

The rounding comes in only if you pay with cash, (as Wilson says if you pay with eftpos the price stays the same, the rounding goes as follows if price ends in 1,2,3,4,5 it gets rounded down if it ends in 6.7.8.9 it goes up..
