My fiance has approx 160+ points, do I need to have a recognised qualification as per the list, or be within the POL?

On the EOI it states that 10 extra points will be awarded if I do have a qualification etc., but if he has enough points and I am included in his EOI, does it matter ?

No, you dont need quals. If the principal applicant has qualifications, the partner doesnt need to have any but its an opportunity to claim bonus points if you do.

160 is a very healthy total so dont worry

Just agreeing with the above post. Your job status/qualifications matter only if you need the extra points. Your fiance makes more than enough points, so don't worry about scraping more together.
