My EOI has been 'modified' on 4 Nov; does this mean the ITA is about to arrive?
I've not changed it myself or advised NZIS of any changes.
Can I read anything into this?
Cheers

Suggest you get in contact with NZIS. It doesn't sound right if it says modified ,and it wasn't you as they would tell you.
If you had high points and a job, it might be things are moving, if not job, the from reading other posts on timings, unfortunaly doesn't sound like you would get an ITA yet.
Sorry if i have p**sed on your fireworks chuck.
The whole thing is confusing and stressful, but never the less you'll get that boss feeling when the visa finally arrive.
All the best Billy. Chips

Probably a good sign, someone is looking at it in any case and with luck you will be getting a package in the mail soon.
Let us know if you do!

They do actually amend things that they think you may have answered incorrectly. They changed the section about English Language on mine, I put that I had been educated / gained a qualification conducted entirely in English and they amended it to "English is my mother tongue".

Our EOI showed that it had been changed on 4th October when I gave them a new e-mail address and home phone number in NZ. But it now shows amended on 21st October but I didn't change anything else - so don't know what that's all about :?
Must be a good sign that it's at least been looked at :yes

Our EOI was chosen Sept. 15 :clap , and I have noticed that every selection date our EOI is being modified. Just for instance the last selection was 27th October our EOI was modified 26th October. I hope it doesn't mean any negative outcome. :nice1
Cheers.

Call them immediately!! I saw that mine said 'modified' right before it was drawn, and I got all excited thinking they were going to pull mine. But a little voice told me to call them, and thank god I did! For some reason, my account, which I hadn't gone into in months (since I had to change the passport numbers) was OPEN according to NZIS, and could not be selected - it was if I was still working in it!! They did a bit of scrambing and CLOSED it for me. No explanation on how this happened, either, but thank goodness it all worked out!! DO CALL THEM.

SoCal Gal,
Thank you very much for your tip. I will call them immediately. It happened to me 3x, and I am grateful that you are my little voice :angel .

On which part of the personalized home pages, once you've logged in, does any 'Modified' date or info. appear? I've clicked on everything you can click on except the live, blue-underlined link to our actual EOI that comes under the heading 'Description' (I'm wondering whether to click on this in case it somehow opens or unlocks my selected EOI in an undesirable way!) I son't see the actual word 'Modified' anywhere.
Cheers,

Hiya
Not sure if this is how the others do it, but I log on, then click on
SKilled Migrant Homepage
It opens in a new window
I scroll down until it says Submitted/Final Expression of Interest
and on the line below you can PRINT
I click on that and it opens up your EOI again in a new window
and Lo and behold it has Date Modified on the 2nd line (i.e. after the heading)
Hope this helps
cheers
