It's finally happened, Joolz and l have the coverted 'blue stickers' safety stuck in our passports and we're booked onto the 6.30pm flight from Heathrow TONIGHT!!!!!!!

4 days in Singapore before we land in Dunedin on the 14th (my birthday - what a fab present).

I know l haven't posted very often but the site has been a massive source of reliable information and l know we wouldn't have been able to plan the move as throughly without the help from you guys.

Hello from sunny Singapore!!

Well, we made it out of Heathrow before it all went a bit pear shaped, another 12 hrs and we could still have been sitting at the departure terminal with no toothpaste or hair gel - what a nightmare!!!!!!!!!!

Having a fab time over here, off to Raffles tomorrow for the required Singapore Sling, even though we both usually avoid gin at all costs, but as they say......when in Singapore!!!!!

Thanks again for all the messages of good luck and if anyone's about to book flights, definately go with Singapore Airlines, they're fab!
