Hi moorf
I don't think that there is any reciprocal relationship between Fiji and NZ like the ones with the other PIs, especially not for PRs. I think for most Pacific Islands, even NZ citizens still have to apply for work permits etc - they just have an easier time getting them. I did see a job for the PI Secretariat advertised that was only open to PI and Australasians, including NZ citizens, not PRs. We met a couple of kiwis working in the Cooks - they had to apply to do so, but I think that would only be for citizens.
We're planning a trip to Fiji sometime soon - but only for holiday! And bug avoidance will be part of that planning of course.

We have applied for PR and will be working in Auckland, part of my work involves a period of time working in Fiji every couple of months.
My prospective employer has been working in Fiji for a number of years, so I can assume there is no problem permits or citizenship.
