NEED URGENT HELP

Am making my final check before sending my EOI for this week selection.


My 15yrs old son doesn't have a passport yet and this field is compulsory.

It we leave this blank it marks our EOI as : not completed

The same appears for my work experience :

when completing my current job ,

the field for end date : is left blank as I am still working . so, EOI is marked as not completed.

what must I do?

put your work end date as today. thats what we had to do to get the EOI to go. Then when you fill out the ITA you update it to say "to present" or whatever.

can't help on the kids ID one sorry.

Sorry gil, this may not help, but does it allow you to say "doesn't have one" or "passport applied for, not yet received" or can you offer a birth certificate number?
Sorry if seeing an answer here raises hope and then you find this doesn't help :(

This won't be what you want to hear, but when I asked Immigration the same question (via online form), I was told that I needed to have my daughter's passport number to submit. She did not have a passport at that time, so we had to wait to put in our EOI.

I was going to say put your son's birth certificate number in there and add a note to the form, but going on dbonnet's comment above, not so sure about that.

Or you could just act plain silly and put it on, they can only refuse you, and they will probably wait for the passport to arrive anyway.... sticky one that.

Hi Glo,

Two of my kids names were still in my passports ,so I used my number for the EOI ,then I got them their own passports sorted before we sent off the ITA .

Will it accept your number ?

best thing to do is to get him his own passport. he'll need it anyway.
