Someone told me that there is a shop or market in Browns Bay where you can buy the type of crisps and biscuits etc that you get in the UK. Does anyone know if this is true and if so, what it's called?

It's called Bramptons - just along from the pet shops and on the other side of the road to Farmers but further up, opposite the SA store.
There are a few of the stores around, I know there is one at Pakuranga mall and I believe the one on the Whangaporoa peninsular is still open.
Really expensive and you'll find yourself looking nostalgically at things you would never buy in the UK in the first place. I also think that they can get "specials" in to order if there is something you really need.
Best of luck
