Once you are selected from the EOI pool your then have 4 months to submit your formal visa application. Does anyone know how long (approximately) it take the NZ government to process the applications?

Congrats to every one selected. I was fortunate enough to be able to go for partnership pr so have not had the stress that you have had.
When you say that you now have four months to submit your application, does this mean, all that waiting was just to get to handing in the app??!!
You have not actually been accepted yet - or is this just a formality??

We are finishing off our EOI - should be in by start of next week, but we have enough points as it stand to be selected :hopeso

What I am wanting to know is how long it takes from the EOI being selected for full visa to be granted? Can anyone help?

Our status has not changed, the little blue info bar says status submitted, and payment recieved.

I thought we have to wait for 4-6 weeks until the NZ govt. send you an invitation?

Dont start spending on the medicals etc yet, NZIS go through all the applications taht they have selected from the pool, have a good old look at them, reject some then as far as I can tell invite the peole who are left to apply, they may want to interview you if you do not already have a job lined up.

They swept up an awful lot of people at the beginning of Sept, so dont be holding your breath for a quick response.
