Stange question I know but I like these clip lock and stoe tube from lackland, especially for flour. I understand that the flour comes in lager bags in NZ so my tubs won't fit. Could someone measure a full bag of flour for me please!

Deb ..... you need to get out more !!!!
I bought a new bag of flour yesterday and it looks to be much the same size as the bags of flour at home .... about 8 or 9 inches tall.
You can get bigger bags, MUCH bigger bags, even sacks of flour are available for the steadfast baker.
Hope this helps.

Diny and ParkCP, Thanks for your replies. I intend to get out lots and regain my sanity as soon as all this packing lark is over. In fact I'm already planning my first very large G&T on the plane.

Deb - I too have flour tubs (American ones) and I have cleaned them and hauled from boston to store here for several months in hopes that they'd do the job in NZ - thanks for asking one of the questions I didn't get around (get up to) asking!
