We have finally got our house finished and it went up for sale last Monday. We had our first viewing on Sunday but I guess it's gonna take longer than a week :wah .........We have two estate agents work for us (both full of bull) and one of them has done a virtual tour so all we need now is a chain free punter who will dance to our tune :laugh ..........David with a house to sell!

Good luck David - god you must have worked like a looney to get the house done - not saying it was a dive, it was really nice but you still seemed to have a lot to do as well as juggling jobs, kids etc - anyway I'm rambling what i mean to say is well done on all your hard work and hope your buyer comes walking through the door soon.
We have a couple who are 'considering' ours at the moment - well i wish they'd hurry up and consider a bit faster so we know where we stand - a yes or no will do thanks!!!!!! :D
Living in limbo land is not easy!!! :laugh

Good luck with your sale. The Suveyor came to mine today, so I am keeping everything crossed that no work needs doing on it like damp proofing or re-wiring and that way we can move ahead with the sale quickly. :exit

As we all know estate agents (sharks) do just about nowt and get a lot for that nowt. Well today after spending a stressful hour and a half getting ready for some carpet treaders I had an idea. I think the agent should have to prepare your house for you before the arrival of the treaders. This would not only make them work for a change but also enable you (the client) the oppertunity to spend quality time with the morning paper over a cup of coffee :D .........David with a tidy house (but not for long!)

Hey can you read my mind  - I've been saying this for weeks, they should do a cleaning service prior to viewers coming round - then they might 'vet' them a bit more beforehand so you don't get time wasters who can't even afford the house cos its 100K over their budget!!!! :(
Any luck yet???

Hi David
Just came across this thread this morning. Have had visitors for 2½ weeks so my house hasn't been my own. ;)
Good luck with selling the house. Hope you, Lesley and the kids are able to get back to NZ in the very near future.
Marcia - still not sign of a buyer? Keep your chin up - it will happen.

I know it aint over untill cash has changed hands but things are falling into place. Lesley is now looking for a job to start after the NZ kids go back after christmas so it's full steam ahead :exit ...............David with a sold sign!

David & Lesley that is great news! There is certainly a lot of potential with your property too, people will have seen this and snapped it up as you don't get many properties like yours!
We had a couple come around tonight for a second viewing, seemed to really like it and were talking about themselves living in it, so sounds positive. We have another viewer already booked for Sunday too. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
Hope it all goes through for you guys!
