Hi,
We submitted our ITA (without job offer) nearly 2 months ago, so hopefully we're getting close to being assigned a case officer. From reading some of the posts, it seems as though things can happen very quickly, some people were only given 24 hrs notice of telephone interviews from being assigned a case officer.
We're due to go away for just over 2 weeks and I'm very worried that they'll phone when we are away. Did this happen to anyone else ? or does anyone know what they do if you're not there when they call. I've got this huge dread of being put back to the bottom of the file and then having to wait another 2 months..
Should I try and contact them and tell them we're going to be away ?
Thoughts/suggestions/advice welcomed.
p.s I can't imagine how people would survive this process without this forum!
