Hi All,
Well you will all be pleased to know that Mr. Ogg did in fact manage to prise my white knuckled fingers from the front door frame and that whilst the gouges are only a few centimeters deep the door frame is still attached to the house!
We have checked in to a hotel in Slough, where my folks live and have our final(of many) farewell get togethers tonight. We fly from Heathrow at 16.10 tomorrow.
Well thats it for the minute gang, of to see my folks and now and will pop back in later.
Thanks
all

Nanny .... I remember our last night in the UK staying at the travel lodge near the airport. It was spent hitting the G&T's with a few members from this forum .... I had very mixed feelings to begin with but by the end of the night I hadn't the slightest idea what was happening.
Hope you have a really good journey and look forward to hearing from you when you get over here.
