My friends daughter is just finishing her A levels and will be in NZ next year. Can anyone tell me how she would go about training to be a nurse? I think they will be living in NP or Hastings. Any info would be very welcome. :nice1

Nurse training in NZ is all degree level, so start with the universities. In Hawkes Bay the Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT) offer nurse training (http://www.eit.ac.nz/study_programmes/study_programmes.aspx?cp=0&results=true&c=53) and it looks like a really decent range of pre and post reg courses.
I imagine NP have a university, but don't know as it wasn't somewhere we considered. HTH.
