Seriously considering trying to buy a house that is going up for auction in a couple of weeks. Does anyone have any recommendations of good solicitors in christchurch? Also any builders who could do a builder's report?

Our solicitor was great.

We've used him for two purchases now and one failed purchase (thanks to his diligence) and we'd use him again.

For building inspections we've used AA Housecheck and been very happy with their service. I have recommended them on to several others and they've all be happy with their reports too.
