The equivalent in NZ is Goods and Services Tax (GST) - mostly 12.5%

The big stinger is that NZ adds GST to some things that are VAT exempt in the UK, e.g. books.

Does anyone have a list of the differences in products which attract GST in NZ compared with VAT in the UK?

Rgds.,
Nick.

I have no idea about GST in Uk, but in Germany for example there is no such on books.
