Bit confused on looking at the import of bikes and sprts equipment

1) will be bringing two motocycles, both bought privatly so no reciept, will a valuation from a dealer do ?

2) sports equipment is on the list of MAF items, we have a lot of Diving equipment is this included, camping walking stuff i understand what do we have to do to get them through though ?

My husband imported a motorbike this Feb and asked if you have checked out the following website;

He did say his reciept was a joke - handwritten and could have been done by anybody :rolleyes:

I bought my bike from my BIL when he got his new VFR :mad: 3 years before we came here.


He just wrote me an email stating the price and date of purchase and that was accepted by customs and MAF.

Sorry missed the diving gear bit. I sold all mine before coming here but if you want to bring it, make sure it is spotlessly clean and new looking, cleaned with the appropriate cleaner. I'm sure they'll want to inspect it.
