Not sure if this has been posted before but this may be of use in terms of your shipment.

Unfortunately this pdf doc raises a query for me in that what is constituted as new furniture and household items? We have items that we have purchased in the last couple of years and we kept the boxes/wrapping for because we knew we were moving. Some items also look new but we have definately used them. Anybody any clues?

Hi Blakie

Sorry can't work your link but we have the original boxes for a fair bit of stuff. TV, all pc's and screens, mammoth printer, some stainless steel kitchen ware including some Brabanita stuff.

It was packaged in its original packing and then wrappped by the shippers. We had no problems with MAF or Customs with this stuff.

Thanks Jess, I'm a bit of a novice at that link posting thing. Thanks also Smiler for the info - puts my mind at rest.
