Hi Gang,

Only landed a week ago but my feet have not touched the ground. By yesterday OH had 3 interviews on the table and he went for his first today - got offered it there and then!

Will be going for the other 2 on Thursday just to see what they have to say for themselves but already likes the sound of the one he's been offered. A pom who comes from our home town would you believe! Coincindence or what?

Have alos chosen schools and hopefully the kids will start Monday - THEN the hard work begins - filling out forms for permits :confused:

Anyway will keep ya'll posted

And we have just agreed a price on a house here in Torbay! AND I became a great aunt to a baby kiwi girl on Wednesday!

So, just to re-cap - been here 10 days on 'holiday' as at present only have vis visa's. Now got job, kids in schools and house under way - just the small matter of getting a work permit and students permits now!

Wow Mrs Ogg - you don't let things rest do you. Well done. Trust me, it does settle down eventually and then you can get on with just living. We achieved so much in the first 4 weeks or so we were here, then it slowed down. Keep up the good work :nice1 .
